This is a nice place to stay, easy access to go to places, just come out and catch a bus to where you want to go.
It's located at a strategic point in Lagos, not at the main center yet not on the outside of the city but good traffic connection

It is a decent and affordable spot with event halls, a pool, and a good location. Great for functions and short stays, though service and upkeep can improve.
I was at the hotel to use their swimming pool and it was a great experience. The pool, gym and basket ball court can be accessed under membership if you pay 32k naira for 3 months. I really think it's a good deal.
I am a 5-star hotel girl, but decided to go budget hotel in Lagos as this was an unplanned trip. The Excellence hotel has no match in Ikeja. There is great atmosphere and a gorgeous swimming pool. I didn't play tennis, volleyball or table tennis. Christmas was dead awesome with some live entertainment. I paid $20 a night plus free breakfast. I was here for 10 days. It is a bargain. Everything in my room worked. If you like luxury sheets, I advise you to bring your own + towels. There is a nice laundry nearby that do drop-offs $4 one load. The infrastructure is dated, but for the price you pay, don't expect 4Star. I love you Excellence hotel
Cool place. The couples Experience 2025 will be making use of this venue too alongside Heritage center.
I once had a family dinner there when i was a little kid and it became the standard of the 5 star hotel experience because of the fine tables, shiny silverware, pristine environment and most especially it screamed luxury. But in 2025, it has falling behind modern hotel decor and ambience, tech-orientation with swift lodger services and care. The location is perfect, rooms are above average and i believe 2026 holds better prospects for our age long OGBA-AGUDA MASTERPIECE
